The long long day.

While on the bus Steve the tour-guild explained about how a few buildings had been cult in half to create more space for greenland, he talked about the now finished 10 year, 3 billion dollar, project to create underground tunnels beneath Boston.

We later visited Fenway Park, where in Steve (another tour-guild by the same name) explained the history of the Baseball field, mentioning at lest half a dozen times the history and size of the Green Monster; it was build to keep baseballs from breaking things across the street as well as making sure that people didn't get to watch the game for free.

Later we went on the Freedom trail, I made sure that I stayed exactly on the two bricks (mostly) of course. The view above was that of the beach, as we went towards it, we passed by a beautiful cemetery, stopped there long enough to sit down for 3/4ths of a minute and then leave again.

We then went to the Quincy Market and later received a tour of the Boston College grounds, the tour was most impressive and I found their silent library to be enchanting, as well as the overall environment and building style; everything seemed elegant, beautiful, and clean. Departing, we went to go see the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship still floating. The security there was extremely heavy, and the most I and two of my friends did was poke around and ask the Navy Officer questions about his job and what he did. He followed our questions with answers of his own, explaining how the longer you stay, the better jobs you receive and the more you come in with the better the chances of you getting an enjoyable job is. He also mentioned how the Navy is pretty much the least in-shape out of all of the US forces.

Unfortunately, we continued from one large boat to another (although on the bright side we were given enough time to explore the World Trade Center, something I've always wanted to do), and we wounded up on the Spirit Cruises. This was horrendous for me, though for most people the main reason for their seasickness is the rocking motion, for me it is that and just the movement; its pretty much if not worse than driving in the back seat of a car, especially since one really cant pull over and stop.

Despite this, I managed to have fun after dinner and dance on the dance floor with a group of non sober adults. Awesome.
